Summary:
The Applications Analyst I works with the Baptist health user community in the evaluation, selection, design/tailoring, testing, and implementation of clinical and business systems. Works well in team environments, and provides ongoing support for problem resolution, application modifications, and new releases. Works independently on projects of simple to minimal complexity. For major or complex projects, works with the team and under general supervision.
Assists users with basic troubleshooting/problem solving, and guides users in the use of healthcare systems. After an initial orientation period, will begin to specialize in a particular Baptist Health system and provide on-call coverage for a production system on a scheduled basis.
This is a Full Time in Office Position. Applicants for this position must be able to demonstrate work authorization at the time of beginning employment. Other information:
- Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Information Technology. Will accept 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Epic certification is preferred. For positions that require Epic certification, certification must be achieved within 6 months post hire date if not pre-certified. All certifications required for this position must be current as a condition of continued employment.
- Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Demonstrates basic computer/software skills, with an aptitude for enhancing those skills in the area of healthcare systems/modules. Ability to work with minimal direction on assigned projects. Ability to handle multiple priorities.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
