Overview
Territory Manager – Route Delivery Driver. The Territory Manager reports to the Area Manager and is a route sales and delivery role focused on servicing and expanding the existing customer base. Key business segments include offices, professional services, fine dining and casual & family restaurants, hotels and conference centers, coffee shops, resorts and clubs, healthcare facilities, and colleges and universities. Providing outstanding service is a core expectation for all Royal Cup employees.
Responsibilities- Master all aspects of route operations including inventory best practices, safe driving, and customer service.
- Meet and exceed goals set by management for safety, inventory, schedule compliance, and promotions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one during the hiring process.
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player with a strong work ethic.
- Professional appearance and demeanor with an outgoing and success-driven personality.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to operate office equipment.
- Strong communication skills, including reading, writing, and interpreting correspondence.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Flexibility to work some nights and weekends as needed.
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight occasionally for meetings, training, or work-related events.
- Ability to successfully complete the pre-employment process.
- 1–2 years of experience as a route delivery driver.
- Experience with in the food service environment.
- Ability to safely climb stairs or ramps at customer locations, and in and out of trucks.
- Ability to sit and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to use hand tools and operate buttons/levers of equipment.
- Ability to push or pull up to 250 lbs with a hand truck and lift equipment or product up to 55 lbs.
- Ability to carry product up to 40 lbs.
