** What You'll Do
*** Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners nationwide.
* Source and secure truckload capacity to support customer shipping needs.
* Negotiate competitive carrier rates while maximizing profitability.
* Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and load boards to book and manage freight.
* Monitor shipments and provide proactive communication regarding updates, delays, and service issues.
* Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure customer commitments are met.
* Analyze market conditions and carrier availability to identify capacity opportunities.
* Troubleshoot transportation challenges and develop creative solutions in real time.
* Maintain accurate shipment records and provide timely updates throughout the transportation lifecycle.
* Consistently meet activity and performance goals in a metrics-driven environment.
