PAF Operator; Fabrication

• Operates mills & lathes as required to fabricate required part(s).
• Inspects parts visually for defects.
• Trims parts as needed.
• Measure pipe/parts/fitting ensuring the quality of the pipe/parts/fitting meets QC data specifications.
• Escalates possible scrap issues to supervisor or Quality for verification.
• Completes production tickets with the proper information for audit purposes.
• Keeps assigned work area clean.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to perform hot air or extrusion welding.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to operate calipers, micrometers, Pi tapes, etc.
• Ability to use bandsaw and router.
• Ability to read and follow specifications as required to mold required part(s).
• Ability of read and write English.
• Ability to work with minimum direction.
• Abilit to identify different materials and products.
• Knowledge of measuring and testing devices.
• Knowledge of machine and tooling functions/interactions.
• Ability to attain and maintain fabrication skill certification.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two (2) plus years fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience working in fast pace, high change environment.

• Exposure to machine noise.
• Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production area.
• Working conditions are normal for a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds and working in and around heavy equipment.
• Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to, eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots.
• This role may require walking in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
