Job Description
We are hiring a Team Lead for the 2nd shift assembly line at our North Little Rock, AR site. You will assemble and test parts, components, or systems for wheel loaders and motor graders, coordinate and monitor team activities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Pay Rate and ScheduleWage: $25.00/hr, along with a comprehensive Day‑One benefits package.
Shift: Monday–Friday, 3 pm–11 pm (2nd shift). Overtime may be available on a voluntary basis with prior authorization.
Responsibilities- Knowledge of assembly procedures, standard work schedules, and quality requirements in the assigned work area.
- Use of tools and lifting devices to move components weighing more than 35 lbs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Apply 5S, Continuous Improvement, and Built‑in Quality principles.
- Keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Meet deadlines and multitask to prioritize work.
- Train new and develop existing employees.
- Act as liaison between the team and section managers.
- Serve as first point of contact for job‑function questions.
- Handle administrative functions and maintain daily team PQVC metric boards.
- Provide input on schedule/build adjustments and communicate build, inventory, or manpower issues to the section manager.
- Resume required.
- Expected or greater level of performance.
- Prior machine assembly experience.
- Experience with lean manufacturing concepts (standard work, 5S, continuous improvement, waste elimination).
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive operations.
- Capability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Additional vocational or college education.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous leadership experience.
- Advanced problem‑solving and root‑cause corrective action skills.
- Strong multitasking ability.
- Reading, writing and interpreting documents and standard work instructions.
- Knowledge transfer and retention skills.
- Operation of heavy machinery.
- Background screening.
- Drug screening.
- Post‑offer medical questionnaire (clearance from Corporate Medical).
