Mold Storage Technician C (Entry-Level)

Reports To: Mold Storage Department Lead

The Mold Storage Technician C is an entry-level position in mold maintenance. This role supports the upkeep, storage, and minor repair of plastic injection molds and tooling. The technician will work closely with Lead and Senior Technicians while developing foundational skills in the tooling trade.

• Perform preventive maintenance on molds and tooling
• Change out components on plastic injection molds
  , including ejection components
• Disassemble and reassemble molds and related components
• Identify tool damage and assist toolmakers with minor repairs
• Use polishing stones, part washers, and basic shop equipment
• Operate a forklift/lift truck and overhead crane to move molds and components
• Use a voltmeter and other common shop tools
• Follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures
• Work closely with Lead and Senior Technicians to support daily operations
• Support and comply with the established Quality Policy
• Perform duties in accordance with the Quality System Manual

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools and basic shop tools
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
• Strong basic math skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness and plans to attend an accredited technical school for basic machine shop training (preferred)

• Ability to safely operate shop equipment and material-handling tools
• Ability to lift, move, and position mold components with assistance
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing and shop environment
