Plant Welder #2 - Night

The Granite Mountain Quarries Plant 2 Operation in Little Rock, Arkansas is currently recruiting for Plant Welder #2 - Night. Only on-line applicants will be considered / evaluated.

Responsible for maintenance and fabrication welding associated with aggregate plant operations. Plant would include plant, conveyors, stackers, bins, chutes, and all other associated location structures and equipment such as crusher platforms, shakers, etc. Ability to safely navigate structures by climbing stairs and ladders and walking on elevated structures is part of the daily responsibilities. Ability to work with maintenance team safely and positively during the night shift is part of the daily responsibilities.

Plant Welder # 2 - Night will perform other tasks as required by business necessity. The Plant Welder # 2 - Night is a strenuous position and requires carrying up to 100 pounds for approximately 600  (with breaks) which would gain elevation on conveyors and stackers, including 45 or more continuous steps. The Plant Welder # 2 - Night position duties are required in all weather conditions to include extreme heat and cold conditions as well as rain (all precipitation) and even possibly on catwalk or platforms that contain ice, especially eral aggregate plant maintenance housekeeping is part of the daily responsibilities.

• Do you have experience doing maintenance or service work (quarry or non-quarry)?
• Are you willing to work up to a 12-hour night shift and additional overtime and weekends if necessary?
• Are you willing and available to work a varying start time based on plant availability?
• Are you willing and able to climb ladder or stairs to navigate plant, conveyors, bins, and stackers?
• Are you willing and able to carry 100 pounds the length of a conveyor or stacker (approximately 600')?
• Are you willing and able to perform the basic qualifications identified in the job description for Plant Welder # 2 - Night?
