GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Arkansas Federal Credit Union is seeking a Marketing Coordinator. This role plays a key role in supporting the execution of marketing initiatives with a strong emphasis on social media management, content coordination, and brand consistency.

This entry-level role is ideal for a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented individual who is eager to grow their skills across digital marketing while taking ownership of day-to-day social media content management and execution.

The candidate for this role must be highly skilled in multitasking, organizing, collaborating, and be able to adapt to new demands.

The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to help bring campaigns to life, ensure deadlines are met, and maintain a consistent brand presence across platforms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develops, executes, and manages social media content through platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In, and Pinterest.
  • Track, analyze, and interpret key performance metrics to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Ensure all in-market creative and content is relevant, up to date, and aligns with the current campaigns and promotions.
  • Collaborate with web developer, marketing strategists, copywriter, and graphic designers to ensure website content is updated, relevant, and optimized.
  • Management of Google My Business Pages, Apple Maps Pages, and Bing business listings.
  • Works with internal departments and web developer to ensure the employee intranet is updated and implements new features and resources.
  • Works with marketing strategist and graphic designer to plan, design, and deploy in-branch digital signage.
  • In collaboration with marketing strategists and graphic designers, manage and schedule emails.
  • Manage Search Engine Optimization content.
  • Distribute assignments to the appropriate team members, set deadlines for various stages of a project, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Route materials for approval and collect feedback on creative at various stages of development.
  • Research and evaluate new digital marketing technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
  • Identify trends and insights to recommend optimizations across digital channels and campaigns.

    Represent the Marketing Department on cross-functional project teams within the credit union.
  • Foster strong relationships within and outside the organization to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Demonstrate Arkansas Federal Credit Union’s core values and perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Up to two years of professional Marketing, Advertising, social media scheduling experience.
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • A good understanding of social media strategy, social media platforms, and reporting metrics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Canva, social media scheduling platforms, and project management software like Asana is preferred.
