The RN Surveyor position is responsible for performing on-site surveys and certification for nursing homes and Intermediate Care Facilities for compliance with state and federal regulations. This position requires extensive overnight travel throughout the state.
Responsibilities- Perform on-site surveys and certification activities for nursing homes and ICFs to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with facility staff to identify deficiencies and help develop corrective action plans.
- Document survey findings and prepare clear, concise reports in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Maintain knowledge of federal and state regulations governing long-term care facilities.
- Travel extensively within the state, including some weekends and after-hours work as required.
- Experience in nursing home, utilization review, or quality assurance.
- Understanding of federal nursing home regulations.
- Valid Arkansas driver’s license.
- Extensive overnight travel within the state with occasional weekend and after-hours work.
- SMQT certification within six months of employment.
- Good computer skills.

Registered Nurses (RNs) provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community health programs. RNs assess patient health, develop care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Primary Responsibilities- Assess patient health, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with medical orders.
- Develop, implement, and update patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and wellness practices.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care teams to plan and implement care strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with health regulations.
- Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to perform physical assessments and recognize changes in patient condition.
- Proficiency in administering medications and treatments safely.
- Strong communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Arkansas.
