• A Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, and administering care within the scope of training and expertise, collaborating with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes in conjunction with hospital objectives and policies and the Nurse Practice Act of the state of Arkansas.
• A Labor and Delivery Nurse provides nursing care to women and infants before, during, and after birth, assists physician with all aspects of pregnancy and birth, assists surgeons during cesarean sections, and cares for women with complications. The role focuses on assessing the patient and developing a plan of care designed to meet physical, psychological, educational, sociocultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family and requires meticulous attention to detail.
• Candidates should be caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable on all aspects of pregnancy, labor, birth, post‑pregnancy care, complications, and treatments.

• A new RN graduate from an accredited nursing program or a Registered Nurse in good standing, licensed to practice in the state of Arkansas. BSN preferred.
• Applies basic knowledge and skills to meet standard of care and is able to practice as a full partner of an interdisciplinary team.
• Healthcare CPR required; some areas may require ACLS, PALS, or NALS – training provided. Specialty units require and will provide specific specialty education.
• Job is authorized for 60 hours bi‑weekly.
