Psychiatric Care for Children and Teens | Pinnacle Pointe Hospital
Position Summary: As an active member of the Psychiatric Assessment Team, the Intake RN performs psychiatric assessments for incoming new patients. This position coordinates all activities of the Admission process from the point of referral, handling initial patient assessment, completion of all paperwork, and transfer to assigned Nursing Unit.

Job Requirements
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current license to practice nursing in Arkansas (or eligible to receive or renew).
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting, with direct experience in patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations.
Additional Requirements: Completion of de-escalation training within 30 days of hire.
