• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required depending on the client facility
• Minimum 18 months of recent experience in an acute‑care emergency room setting
• Additional requirements as determined by the client facility

The emergency room registered nurse provides care for a variety of illnesses or traumas, recognizing and effectively treating life‑threatening conditions.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing, intervening, and stabilizing trauma and illness with decisive action.
• Possessing knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to urgent care.
• Understanding triage principles to prioritize injuries according to medical need.
• Making quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, evaluating both physical and mental health conditions.
