American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-acuity Cardiovascular ICU position requiring ECMO, Impella, balloon pump, and VAD experience along with an AR or compact RN license.

• Acute care Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Busy, fast-paced CV service line with the highest acuity in the area, covering all cases except transplants
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Night shift, 7p-7a, working every other weekend
• 12-hour shifts with a 36-hour guaranteed work week
• 12 hours of orientation provided

• Active AR or Compact (NLC) RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Hands-on experience with ECMO, Impella, balloon pump, and VAD required
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

• Provide high-acuity cardiovascular ICU nursing care across a wide range of complex cardiac cases
• Work within a fast-paced, specialized CV service line team
• Candidates who were directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any Common Spirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and Dignity, within the past year are not eligible
• Candidates previously employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
