Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN

Baptist Health Urgent Care seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver fast-paced, walk-in care for non-emergency needs. As part of Arkansas' largest not-for-profit healthcare system, you will support providers with triage, vital signs, point-of-care testing, injections, wound care, and EHR documentation across a variety of minor illnesses and injuries. Responsibilities

• Perform triage, obtain histories, and record vital signs for walk-in patients
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccines per provider orders
• Perform wound care, splinting, and basic procedures for minor injuries
• Complete point-of-care tests (strep, flu, COVID, UA, glucose, etc.) and collect lab specimens
• Accurately document care in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures
• Reinforce patient education, discharge instructions, and follow-up plans
• Practice infection control, safety, and quality standards consistently
• Support clinic flow, room turnover, and supply management
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-first care
