PCT RN Student IHA - LRPCT Resource Team

Working Hours:

6:30AM-7:00PM or 6:30PM-7:00AM

The PCT RN Student primarily assists the patient and their family with basic care, monitoring, and hygiene to help ensure complete care. As an essential member of the patient care team who spends significant time at the bedside, the PCT must demonstrate compassion and excellent interpersonal skills. Effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team is also vital for success in this role.

• 12 college level credit hours that include a passing grade in English Composition with a C or higher and an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater.
• Service industry experience preferred but not required.
• A complete and accurate accounting for all jobs held the past seven years starting with the most current.
• Willingness to work under licensed nurse supervision.
• Exhibit excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and apply scope of practice related skills.
• Communicate, collaborate with the health care team effectively and do so consistently.
• Engage patients and families at the appropriate level for their wellness and cognition.
• Problem solving and be proactive in anticipating and acting on nursing and customer needs.
• The candidate will provide when requested:
  Their valid CPR card;
  An approved Nursing Clinical Skills certification from their current accredited educational institution;
  Complete, verifiable current transcripts from all college coursework.

This job will be authorized
0.80 hours bi-weekly.
