APRN​/PA – Urology Clinic

• Assist physicians with clinic operations
• Organize patient visits and perform clinic procedures
• Work independently and collaboratively with supervising physicians across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Perform clinical assessments and assist with care coordination
• Answer MyChart and in-basket messages, patient questions, and phone calls
• Manage prescriptions
• See new and follow-up patients in the outpatient clinic
• Follow up on pathology and imaging
• Provide comprehensive patient education and appropriate follow-up
• Assess, diagnose, and treat actual and potential patient problems
• Coordinate specialized, multidisciplinary care and facilitate patient consults
• Determine diagnoses, implement treatment plans, prescribe medical treatments, and manage health issues in collaboration with the designated physician
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals as a resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate
• Manage post-procedure immunosuppression and patient labs with the physician and pharmacist
• Participate in institutional initiatives
• Collaborate in policy and program development, implementation, and evaluation
• Edit and document results in critical care systems
• Perform other duties as assigned

• APRN:
  Master’s Degree in Nursing
• APRN:
  Three years of nursing experience
• APRN:
  Licensed Registered Nurse in Arkansas

  Master's Education
• PA: PA Licensure
