Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Professor​/Assistant Professor​/Associate Professor

• Provide gerontological acute care specialty expertise, teaching, and mentorship
• Provide teaching and mentorship within the College of Nursing’s graduate program
• Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum
• Participate in research and scholarly activities supporting the graduate nursing program
• Contribute to service and professional practice activities within the College of Nursing and broader academic community
• Collaborate with AGAC faculty and across College of Nursing programs
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Report to the chair of the Department for faculty-related development and evaluation
• Collaborate with the DNP/Master’s Executive Director, Programs Director, and associate dean for academic affairs

• Doctoral degree in nursing
• Current, unencumbered Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
• Two or more years of teaching experience in a graduate nursing program (preferred)
• Experience with simulation-based learning (preferred)
• Familiarity with a concept-based curriculum (preferred)
• Eligible for advanced practice nursing licensure in Arkansas (preferred)
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
• Successful pre-employment screening, including criminal background, drug testing, and/or education verification

Demonstrates expertise in gerontological acute care and advanced practice nursing, with a focus on teaching, curriculum development, and mentorship within graduate nursing programs. Engages in research and collaborates effectively within academic and professional communities.
