Supervision and Coordination of Urology Clinic Operations
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the designated urology clinic
- Oversee patient care and clinic business processes
- Identify clinic needs requiring intervention or revision
- Liaise with the director and administration regarding clinical activity, problems, and needs
- Function as a working supervisor and maintain awareness of clinic status
- Supervise and implement Quality Assurance studies and analyze patient-care factors
- Monitor clinic expenditures against the general ledger and manage staff, space, and supplies within budget
- Fulfill licensing and accrediting agency standards
- Plan measurable clinic goals and objectives
- Conduct staff needs assessments and participate in maintenance, capital equipment, and staff budgets
- Develop and implement policies, protocols, job descriptions, and performance appraisals
- Coordinate leave scheduling and staffing assignments
- Participate in clinic renovations, ad hoc committees, and daily problem-solving
- Prepare statistical and narrative reports
- Produce biweekly payroll and maintain employee time and benefits documentation
- Monitor tardiness and absenteeism
- Interview, hire, orient, and coordinate personnel processes for new employees
- Provide continuing education and cross-training opportunities
- Conduct formal and informal employee evaluations
- Coordinate personnel records, promotions, transfers, and hiring
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Bachelors in Nursing required
- At least 5 years of experience in nursing
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity
- Valid License as a Registered Nurse by the State of Arkansas
- Current BLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Required documents:
License or Certificate, list of three Professional References, and Resume - Successful completion of annual TB screening, criminal background check, and substance abuse testing
Demonstrates expertise in nursing management, overseeing clinic operations, and ensuring compliance with licensing and accrediting standards. Proficient in staff supervision, quality assurance, and budget management within a healthcare setting.
