School-Based Registered Nurse; RN

A rewarding opportunity awaits an experienced Registered Nurse eager to make a positive impact in a dynamic school environment near Little Rock, AR. This full-time contract role offers the chance to float between three school sites, supporting students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. As the lead nurse, you’ll oversee a dedicated medical assistant at each campus and play a key role in maintaining the health and safety of the school community.

• Provide direct nursing care and respond to medical needs for students and staff across three K-12 school sites
• Supervise and guide three on-site medical assistants to ensure high-quality health services delivery
• Support chronic disease management, medication administration, and emergency care
• Create and implement individualized healthcare plans for students as needed
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives school-wide
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators regarding student health needs
• Multi-task in a fast-paced, multi-location environment, adapting to changing priorities throughout the school day

• Active RN license, in good standing, valid in Arkansas
• Prior experience in school nursing or pediatric/children’s healthcare preferred
• Bilingual ability (Spanish) is a strong asset
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel between sites as needed
• Familiarity with best practices in school health and student care
