American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-acuity Cardiovascular ICU position requiring ECMO, Impella, balloon pump, and VAD experience with an AR or compact RN license.

• Acute care setting in a busy, fast-paced Cardiovascular ICU with the highest acuity level in the area
• Patient population includes all CV service line cases except transplants
• Uses Cerner EMR
• 12-hour day shifts from 7a-7p on an every-other-weekend schedule
• 48 hours per week guaranteed

• Active AR or compact RN license required, pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS, active at time of consideration
• Hands-on experience with ECMO, Impella, balloon pump, and VAD required
• BSN not required for this position
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

• Provide critical care nursing to high-acuity cardiovascular patients in a demanding, fast-paced CVICU environment
• 6 hours of orientation provided
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any Common Spirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible
• Candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
