American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac/Stepdown Float position on night shift, requiring an active AR or compact RN license and ACLS/BLS certification.

• Acute care setting on a Cardiac/Stepdown Float unit
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a with every other weekend required
• 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• 6-week assignment length

• Active AR or Compact (NLC) RN license required, pending licenses not accepted
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BSN not required for this position
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

• Provide nursing care to cardiac and stepdown patients, including floating within the unit as needed
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any Common Spirit-affiliated facility, including CHI or Dignity, within the past year are not eligible
• Candidates previously employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
