Wags And Whiskers in Little Rock, AR is looking for part time or full time doggie daycare Dog Handler/Group Leader to join our 25 person strong team. We are located on 9301 Treasure Hill Rd. We are open 6:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday and 7:00am to 6:00pm Saturday and Sunday, 7 days a week.

We are looking for one more team member who wants to work part-time. You will be scheduled weekly either Saturday or Sunday as well as week hours. Hours will vary each schedule and we need staff who can work am shifts and pm shifts. These hours vary between 6:00am/7:00am to 12:00pm and 12:00pm to 6:00pm .

Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and hard-working. This is an action packed job, so if you love staying busy, multi-tasking and feel you are great at handling high stress situations this just might be the job for you. You will be on your feet and walking an entire shift so it is important you are physically fit. Must be willing to work with dogs on a variety of behaviors.

We need someone with great work ethics, who thrives in a fast paced environment, is great at keeping up with the details, can think fast on their feet, and can move quickly. Again, this can be a very stressful job and is very physical so if you enjoy working hard in all aspects of caregiving, you justmight be the one.

Duties include supervising, training, loving, feeding, and playing with dogs and all the cleaning that comes along with caring for a dog and their housing.

Candidates should have good memory retention to learn/remember dog names, their behaviors and personalities;
Must be able to give great attention to detail, must be observant to notice limps, scratches, smells, changes in behavior, impending escalation of excitement, etc.
