Truckload Logistics Specialist

Priority1 is a premier consulting and contract logistics company, specializing in Truckload, LTL, and Expedited services. We are growing at a rapid pace and we are looking to expand Truckload operations in our Little Rock, AR headquarters.

This role is the 2nd shift, starting at 12:00PM (noon) to 9:00PM M-F in office in downtown Little Rock.

Roles &Responsibilities:

The Truckload Logistics Specialist is the operational support for our nationwide sales team. The role is responsible for accurately quoting, building, and communicating updates for truckload opportunities. The role requires the ability to multi-task, problem solve and prioritize daily workload. Candidate must be able to overcome issues and resolve problems. Being customer centric and a sales advocate to our sales teams is a must.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, develop your logistics skills and collaborate with very talented people across our organization. Additional responsibilities include educating our sales teams how to quote and win more Truckload opportunities. Primary Responsibilities:

• Responds timely to Sales and Customer requests for Truckload quotes

• Ability to multi-task to quote, accurately build loads, and communicate shipment updates
• Sales advocate to problem solve and help Sales close opportunities

Training:

Candidate will shadow the Truckload Supervisor for several weeks along with hands-on training with observation until candidate is confident to work individually. Our other Truckload Logistics Specialists will also help to answer questions as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Job functions require long periods of sitting and working from computer workstation; ability to multi-task, problem solve, and prioritize daily workload; excellent organization and record keeping skills; comfortable with oral and written communications, primarily on the telephone and email. Requires extended periods of sitting, normal walking, bending, twisting, and stretching. Capability of sight and hearing required. Ability to deal with stressful situations and occasionally working extended hours.
