Overview
Varian seeks a Sales Manager for its Advanced Oncology Solutions team. The position reports directly to the Managing Director, Advanced Oncology Solutions. The Sales Manager focuses on renewing and expanding existing contracts for Varian’s AOS products and services in partnership with the ROS field team and internal delivery teams, building long‑term recurring revenue engagements with customers in North America.
Responsibilities- Serve as primary sales point‑of‑contact during renewal engagements.
- Act as liaison for the broader AOS sales organization when customers require additional services.
- Manage and develop key partner relationships.
- Collaborate with the ROS field team and delivery teams to secure long‑term revenue engagements.
- Travel within US and Canada 15%+.
- Product knowledge and ability to conduct high‑level presentations.
- Knowledge of physics and dosimetry workflows.
- Organizational acumen and skills.
- Time and territory management.
- Responsiveness and reliability.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and selling skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with 8 years of related experience or Master’s degree with 6 years of related experience.
- Proficiency with business tools such as e‑mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software.
- Completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility.
- Vendor credentialing required for US and Canada positions.
