Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Full Truckload (FTL) Salesperson role located in Little Rock, AR. The FTL Salesperson will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers, and manage a pipeline of prospects. Daily responsibilities include making outbound calls and visits, presenting logistics solutions, preparing quotes, and negotiating rates and contract terms. The role involves coordinating with the brokerage and operations teams to ensure service commitments are met, tracking performance, and following up with customers to support retention and growth.
The Salesperson will also maintain accurate sales records in the CRM system and contribute to sales strategies and market insights.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in lead generation, prospecting, and closing sales within logistics, transportation, or related industries.
- Strong client relationship management, including effective communication, negotiation, and follow-up abilities.
- Experience with basic pricing, quoting, and contract terms in a B2B environment, preferably in freight or brokerage services.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, email, and standard office software to track opportunities and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work on-site in Little Rock, AR, collaborate with operations teams, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and a focus on meeting targets and deadlines.
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation sales, or brokerage is highly beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; postsecondary education in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
