Account Representative Sales

Ryerson is looking for an Account Representative in Strongsville, Ohio.

As an Account Representative, you will monitor daily sales inquiries and provide great customer service to new and existing customers by growing transactional orders. You will also participate in a 5‑week sales training program, Ryerson Academy, that equips you with the knowledge and skills to excel in this role.

• Process customer orders, make sales calls, and establish relationships with customers.
• Build territory/account approach and monitor resources.
• Collaborate with different departments to execute account development plans.
• Prioritize concurrent customers' demands and provide satisfactory service to all.
• Balance concurrent requests for assistance from internal and external customers for service issues.
• Complete tasks with speed and accuracy.
• Perform any other duties as assigned. Responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1‑3 years of sales or related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• SAP experience preferred.
• Excellent professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment.
• Positive attitude, competitive, goal‑oriented, and driven with a passion to excel.
