Sales Route Driver

Prairie Farms is seeking a reliable Sales Route Driver to deliver dairy products to grocery, food service, and retail customers while growing sales on an assigned route. In this full-time role, you will load and unload products, follow a set delivery schedule, rotate stock, and ensure accurate invoices, payments, and returns. You'll build strong relationships with store managers, secure additional shelf space, and execute promotions that support our farmer-owned brand.

Safe, compliant driving, DOT and food-safety standards, and timely reporting are essential in our quality- and community-focused cooperative culture.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery truck on assigned sales route following DOT and company policies
• Load, unload, and handle dairy products to prevent damage and maintain quality
• Deliver products to grocery, food service, and retail accounts on schedule
• Verify orders, invoices, payments, and product returns with accuracy
• Rotate stock, check dates, and maintain proper product placement and merchandising
• Build relationships with store managers and staff to support customer satisfaction
• Identify and secure incremental sales opportunities and additional shelf or display space
• Execute promotions, pricing, and point-of-sale programs to grow route sales
• Complete required delivery logs, DOT records, and route reports in a timely manner
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company safety procedures at all times
