- Sell pest management services and products to new and existing residential customers
- Assess customer needs through consultation and analysis of pest control products and services
- Visually inspect homes for pests, harborage, and entry points
- Sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance based on inspection findings
- Collaborate with the Customer Service Center, Inside Sales department, and Technicians
- Partner with the Branch Manager to identify revenue opportunities
- Develop proposals to resolve pest issues and recommend additional household service enhancements
- Complete home diagrams using the Sales CRM
- Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities
- Provide expert knowledge for new service installations
- Complete daily activities and sales performance tracking in the company Sales CRM
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license from current state of residence
- Strong social, customer service, and communication skills
- Prefer at least 1-2 years of pest technician or sales experience
- Ability to travel up to 100% of the time within assigned territories
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to move up to 10 lbs. regularly and 11-20 lbs. frequently
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
- Ability to work around pests including spiders, flies, mosquitoes, and rodents
- Ability to enter small or confined spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, and attics
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including an OSHA-compliant respirator
- Related sales experience and/or training preferred
Demonstrates expertise in pest management sales, customer consultation, and service proposal development. Proficient in using Sales CRM for tracking sales performance and managing customer interactions.
