Education Sales Representative

The Education Sales Representative is responsible to
:

• Secure project contracts in line with sales and profit obligations
• Develop/maintain relationships with school district decision makers to ensure installation coordination
• Collect/prepare site information/photographs; submit to Engineering for sales quote
• Prepare weekly sales and bid reports
• Acquire/maintain thorough knowledge of all relevant equipment and systems with the ability to perform demonstrations of all products within territory market
• Assist in the collection of money related to territory client base
• Assist in Sales and Marketing initiatives
• Attend company training sessions as necessary, both on-line and in-person
• Travel throughout assigned territory on a regular basis Monday-Friday required (
  * company vehicle provided)

Qualifications / Requirements:

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required; 2 or 4-year degree in Business, Sales or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years sales, account management and/or customer service experience required
• Sales / Account Management background working with K-12 / Education industry clients highly desired
• Effective organizational, problem solving, negotiation and follow-up skills
• Proficient use of MS Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
• Professional appearance with excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to travel Monday-Friday throughout assigned territory on a regular basis required
