Security Officer Armed Driver Patrols in Little Rock, AR

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon-Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, loading areas, storage yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or delivery information, and help to control access for personnel, vehicles, and materials in accordance with site procedures.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a professional presence, preparing accurate activity logs and incident reports, and following post orders for assigned armed duties.

• Have 3 or more years of experience as Military Police or Corrections Officer or Armed Security, or be a Certified Law Enforcement Graduate.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
