Carpenter - Framing & Drywall

Overview

The Commercial Carpenter is a skilled professional responsible for the expert installation of metal framing, drywall, doors, and ceiling grids for lay-in ceilings on renovation and new build projects across the Baptist Health System. This hands-on role ensures that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality, contributing directly to a premier patient and staff environment. This position requires a flexible, team-oriented individual who may travel to other campuses and work occasional nights or weekends.

• Install metal framing, drywall, doors, and ceiling grids for lay-in ceilings on renovation and new build projects across the Baptist Health System.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality, contributing to a premier patient and staff environment.
• Travel to other campuses and work occasional nights or weekends as needed.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred. Completion of a vocational program or a related trade apprenticeship is a plus.
• Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on commercial framing and drywall installation experience strongly preferred. Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
