RESIDENTIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
OverviewVinebrook Homes is an internally managed real‑estate investment company focused on acquiring, renovating, leasing and operating single‑family homes as rental properties. The company has a portfolio of approximately 14,000 homes and is expanding to over 25,000 units.
Compensation & Benefits- Base salary: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
- Sign‑on bonus: $1,000 after 90 days

- Complete all work orders in a timely manner based on priority
- Manage coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell‑phone when scheduled
- Perform quality repairs to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems independently
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances
- Travel locally during the business day as required
- Maintain a company vehicle and adhere to safety protocols
- Provide strong customer‑service skills to residents and internal stakeholders
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–5 years of experience in residential maintenance
- Proficiency with a smartphone and computer
- Working knowledge of electrical systems (outlets, switches, light fixtures)
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, garbage disposals)
- Water‑heater knowledge (electric and gas)
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass Motor Vehicle, drug‑screen, credit, and criminal background checks
- Own personal tools; larger/specialized equipment provided by company
Due to the nature of the role, a positive drug test (including medical and recreational marijuana) may result in disqualification for hire. Candidates from states where marijuana is legalized are still subject to the same policy.
