MUST HAVE ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety focused, comfortable working with tools, and able to follow direction from electricians, controls technicians, and project leadership in a fast paced industrial environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist the electrical team with installation support for power distribution and control systems across assigned project areas.

Assist in helping to ensure required power is available from the Power Distribution Box, known as PDB, to main panels in control houses, control desks, control posts, motor boxes, control boxes, sensors, accessories, and other assigned equipment.

Assist with pulling, routing, dressing, labeling, and organizing electrical wiring and control wiring in accordance with project direction.

Assist with the running of control input and output wiring from source locations to main panels, control desks, control posts, field devices, and related equipment.

Assist with wire terminations under direct supervision from electricians and/or controls personnel

Help mount, position, and align sensors and related field devices based on project requirements.

Support installation of electrical components, including panels, boxes, motors, switches, control devices, accessories, brackets, and mounting hardware.

Assist with basic checks, inspections, and troubleshooting support as directed by qualified electrical or controls personnel.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper handling of materials, tools, ladders, and equipment.

Follow all site safety requirements, lockout and tagout direction, PPE requirements, and supervisor instructions at all times.

Perform other project support duties as assigned by the electrical team or site leadership.

Qualifications:

Electrical Apprentice License in Arkansas or Demonstrated Prior Industrial Electrical Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Exceptionally strong work ethic and a team first attitude.

Prior electrical, controls, industrial, construction, manufacturing, or skilled trades experience.

Basic understanding of electrical tools, wiring, panels, sensors, controls, or industrial equipment is an asset.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and work safely under the direction of qualified team members.

Strong attention to detail, especially when assisting with labeling, routing, organizing, and termination support.

Willingness to perform hands on work in an industrial project environment.

Ability to communicate clearly with electricians, controls technicians, other contractors, and project leadership.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform hands on work throughout the shift.

Ability to lift and carry materials and tools as required by the project.

Comfortable working in an active industrial or construction style environment.

Ability to wear required PPE and follow all site specific safety requirements.

Ability to work overtime as needed based on project schedules.
