This long-term, direct placement role is ideal for a Licensed Journeyman Electrician who wants steady work and the opportunity to grow within a company focused on large utility-scale solar projects. You will initially support a major solar installation in Arkansas and may have the opportunity to travel to additional project sites in other states as part of a robust multi-year project pipeline.
In this position, you will perform commercial and industrial electrical work in a construction environment on outdoor solar facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform commercial and industrial electrical work on large utility-scale solar projects in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components on solar construction sites, ensuring reliable and efficient operation.
- Read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and specifications to complete installations and repairs accurately.
- Work safely on outdoor construction sites, following all site-specific safety protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate with other electricians, trades, and site personnel to coordinate tasks and maintain project schedules.
- Conduct testing and inspections of electrical systems to verify proper installation and identify any issues requiring corrective action.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are used and stored properly.
- Adapt to varying project requirements and locations, including potential travel to other states for future solar projects.
Essential Skills
- Active Licensed Journeyman Electrician credential in Arkansas or a reciprocal state, with a valid JW card.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Experience working in construction environments, preferably on large-scale projects.
- Ability to safely perform electrical duties on outdoor job sites, including adherence to all safety regulations.
- Capability to read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electrical issues.
- Reliability and willingness to work extended hours, including overtime as required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Solar project experience is a plus but not required.
- Comfort working on utility-scale solar installations and large outdoor construction sites.
- Willingness to travel to other states for future projects as needed.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a field construction team.

Work Environment
You will work on an outdoor solar construction site, initially at a large utility-scale project in Arkansas. The schedule currently runs Monday through Saturday, with regular opportunities for overtime ranging from approximately 5 to 20 hours per week depending on project needs. The environment is typical of a construction site, requiring adherence to safety protocols, use of appropriate personal protective equipment, and comfort working in varying weather conditions.
As projects progress, there may be opportunities to travel to additional solar sites in other states.

Pay and Benefits
