Carpentry Position
To perform and supervise the duties related to carpentry, repair, maintenance, and remodeling of City of Little Rock buildings and facilities.
This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening.
These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of a standard high school or vocational technical school course work in the building trades; four (4) years of experience in carpentry or related building trades to include two (2) years of experience in commercial building maintenance or related area; one (1) year of personal computer experience and one (1) year of supervisory experience.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
Must be available to respond to emergency calls on nights, weekends, and holidays.
