- Full time position with a starting pay range from $20 - $22 / hour.
- Journeymen range from $32 - $45 / hour based on skill*

As a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice with AFPG you will play a critical role in installing, repairing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems in diverse types of buildings, ensuring they meet all safety codes and standards. You will work under the supervision of skilled craftsmen, while learning to assess blueprints, select appropriate materials, and provide high-quality craftsmanship to protect lives and property from fire damage.
This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of workmanship and safety as outlined by our company.
- Install, repair, and maintain all types of fixed extinguishing systems, including underground piping.
- Responsible for installing and servicing other fire protection equipment such as standpipes, pumps, carbon dioxide systems, foam systems, and dry chemical systems.
- Travel to work on various locations/job sites as necessary.
- Willing to enroll in AFSA apprenticeship program (all costs covered).
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; in accordance with Company policy.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Willing and able to lift up to at least 50 pounds.
- Willing to climb ladders.
- Strong mechanical background is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must pass a post-offer drug test and background check, if applicable.
