Mechanical Installer – Aerotek – Little Rock, AR

Maintenance mechanic to perform mechanical repairs of the conveyor, bottling and packaging systems. Work will consist of motor changes, troubleshooting and diagnosing faults, changing drives and belts, gear boxes, preventative maintenance, and work on various equipment throughout the facility. Primary job is fielding service calls throughout the facility to diagnose and troubleshoot any issues. Common service calls will be to fix stoppage of machines/conveyors, changing bad cylinders, fixing photo eyes, replacing chains, and more.

Preventative Maintenance is a small portion of the job as it is only completed during the "cleaning window" which lasts 2-3 hours every 1-2 days.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and process problems.
• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure minimal line shutdowns.
• Perform mechanical installations for new equipment.
• Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting using schematics and blueprints.

• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience (3-5 years).
• Experience with hydraulics and conveyors.

• Experience with Siemens PLC is a plus and may offer additional compensation.
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance procedures.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
