Maintenance Technician

Dream Live Prosper Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support safe, attractive apartment communities. In this resident-focused role, you'll perform routine and emergency maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs. You'll complete work orders, conduct inspections, prep apartments for move-in, and help maintain grounds and common areas. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and responsive to residents' needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance in apartment homes and common areas
• Complete plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs
• Respond to and close resident maintenance work orders promptly
• Conduct regular property and unit inspections to identify maintenance needs
• Prepare vacant units for move-in, including repairs and touch-ups
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and building systems for safety and appearance
• Follow safety protocols and comply with building and company standards
• Coordinate with vendors or contractors when specialized repairs are needed
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and equipment status
• Support a resident-focused, customer service-oriented community culture
