The Crane Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Little Rock, AR. In this role, the technician inspects, maintains, and repairs cranes and lifting equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and conducting field service visits at customer facilities. The technician documents work performed, follows company and regulatory safety standards, and communicates clearly with customers and internal teams about equipment status and service needs.
The role may involve working at heights, handling heavy components, and responding to urgent service calls to minimize customer downtime.
- Experience with cranes and lifting equipment
, including inspection, adjustment, and safe operation. - Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and control systems on industrial cranes.
- Background in field service
, providing on-site diagnostics, repairs, and customer support. - Hands-on experience with heavy equipment and related industrial machinery in plant or service environments.
- Proficiency in equipment maintenance
, including preventive maintenance scheduling and accurate service documentation. - High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and safety guidelines; strong attention to detail and safety practices.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to customer sites; capacity to work at heights and lift moderate to heavy loads safely.
- Effective communication skills, reliability in meeting service commitments, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
