AR/VR Developer is a pioneering technologist who builds immersive experiences that blend the digital and physical worlds, creating applications that transport users to virtual environments or augment their reality with digital content. They are the architects of the metaverse, pushing the boundaries of how people interact with technology through headsets, glasses, and mobile devices.

AR/VR Developer’s core technical toolkit includes mastery of game engines—Unity with C# or Unreal Engine with C++—for building immersive applications. They develop for leading platforms including Meta Quest, HTC Vive, Play Station VR, Holo Lens, and mobile AR (ARKit, ARCore). They do SLAM, marker tracking, and plane detection for spatial tracking and mapping; develop intuitive 3D interactions such as gaze-based controls, hand tracking, gesture recognition, and motion controllers;

implement VR locomotion systems such as teleportation, smooth movement, and room-scale experiences; optimize performance for high frame rates; handle audio spatialization and user interfaces for 3D spaces; and employ computer vision methods for object recognition and environment understanding.
