Software Engineer, Backend Developer
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced Service Now Developer to build and maintain solutions across IT Service Management (ITSM) and custom-scoped applications.

This is a full-time, on-site position located at our Little Rock, Arkansas headquarters. A high level of attendance is required as an essential function of this position.

The responsibilities below represent the core functions of the role and are not an exhaustive list of all duties.
- Develop and configure Service Now solutions (workflows, scripting, integrations, UI, and extensions).
- Ensure platform stability, performance, and upgrade-readiness using best practices.
- Deliver production-ready solutions and balance declarative with programmatic development.
- Architect and automate business processes while identifying needs through team coordination.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and clients to meet quality standards.
- Write and maintain high-quality code that remains stable through upgrades.
- Proactively identify solutions to business-impacting IT issues.
- Translate business goals into technical requirements while acting as a bridge between infrastructure teams and end-users.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.

- Ability to work onsite at Corporate Headquarters in Little Rock, AR
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Three or more years of hands-on Service Now development experience
- Experience with Workflow Studio and Integration Hub
- Hands-on integration experience using MID Servers
- Strong understanding of the Service Now data model and CMDB concepts
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in scripting and automation, with strong system analysis and client-solution skills
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, troubleshooting, and platform configuration
- 3 Year s
- Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Familiarity with Service Now App Engine Studio (AES)
- Strong technical documentation skills
