LABORER 1 - RECYCLING

Township of Rockaway

The Township seeks to hire a full-time Laborer 1 within the Department of Public Works. Under supervision, the successful applicant will be required to assist in repairs of storm drains, paving projects, pothole repairs, recycling, maintenance of properties, maintaining roads, drainage areas as instructed and other township facilities as required and perform any other duties as assigned such as, but not limited to, salting and snow plowing.

The applicant must have a high school diploma (or equivalent), as well as the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving history. CDL is preferred but not required. If you do not possess a CDL, it is required to be obtained within 6 months of employment.

Experience working in the Department of Public Works is preferred. This position requires the applicant to be available "on call" and as needed.

Pay Range $15.90-$31.10
