Transportation Analyst

Full job description:
Transpo Group is looking for an enthusiastic team member with a passion for transportation analysis and planning who is seeking a fast-track career path and opportunities for growth.

• Analyze and solve complex transportation planning or engineering problems dealing with all travel modes.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, with strong writing skills.
• Use a variety of software programs effectively and make timely and informed recommendations to internal managers and project team.
• Work on a variety of projects, which may include, but is not limited to, traffic operations, microsimulation, campus plans, multimodal corridor studies, transportation impact studies, bicycle and pedestrian studies, and regional transportation plans.

• Bachelor’s degree in transportation, civil, or urban and regional planning, or a related major.
• Have proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and utilize analysis software programs.
• Must be able to work in the U.S.
• Is a self-starter and can take initiative.
• Be able to work successfully both in a team scenario and in an environment where there is little or no daily supervision.
