- Document all incoming freight.
- Verify the accuracy of received items against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Unload merchandise from delivery trucks using various warehouse equipment.
- Inspect received items for damages, defects, or discrepancies.
- Ensure that the quality of received goods meets established standards.
- Complete and maintain accurate receiving documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to communicate shipment details and resolve discrepancies.
- Report any issues with received items promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, etc.
- Adhere to safety protocols while in the warehouse.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents to supervisors.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Language SkillsAbility to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
