Warehouse QC Associate

Job Description

Supports the day‑to‑day operations while ensuring reports of returns, transfers, shortages, and credits. Responsible for additional warehouse functions as needed, including stocking shelves, inventory reconciliation, and preparing products for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

Schedule:

1st shift Monday through Friday with minimal overtime (Saturday morning work required only a few times a year). Entry‑level pay starts at $16.25 per hour. This is a safety-sensitive position; the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative. Candidates offered employment must undergo a pre‑employment drug test that screens for amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidine, following the cutoff levels set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

High school diploma or GED with warehouse, distribution or customer service experience preferred, but not required. Must be able to identify product by size, type, style, color code/sku. Must be able to read orders, match orders without error on shipping tickets, and stock items while manually entering correct catalog numbers. Basic math skills and reasoning skills. Ability to obtain certification of power‑truck equipment.

Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar‑coding equipment, handheld devices. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and general data entry competence is a must! Ability to obtain a DOT medical card and/or delivery driver experience is highly desirable, but not necessary.

Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment. 75% of the time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing. Position may require climbing ladders for top-level selection. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
