Job Purpose And Scope: This role is responsible for receiving, shipping, packaging, labeling and performing cycle counts for materials within our Transmission warehouse. The Warehouse Helper supports service centers across Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi, ensuring safe, organized, and efficient placement of materials throughout the warehouse and yard areas using established material‑handling practices.

• Learn and adhere to all company safety rules and procedures.
• Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Receive and stock material, checking for any damage and verifying packing list against the material.
• Conduct routine cycle counts.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes and other lifting devices to transport or relocate large heavy items.
• Accurately pick and prepare materials for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties in all areas of the warehouse and yard.
• Work in all weather conditions—heat, cold, rain, snow—as this position is primarily outside.
• Perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be available for out-of-town storm response support for TX, LA, and MS.
• Perform additional duties during storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations as deemed necessary.

Required: High school graduate or equivalent.

• Operate forklifts.
• Operate ride‑on pallet jacks.
• Perform basic math calculations.
• Identify and understand the nomenclature of standard electric utility material.
• Basic computer operation knowledge.
• Working knowledge of Maximo and other store‑related software and applications.
• Frequent repetitive lifting, carrying, and maneuvering of materials up to 50 lbs.
• Extended periods of standing, walking, and regular bending.

Safety Sensitive: This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre‑employment and random drug testing.

Travel: Up to 25%.
