Edsal Manufacturing is North America's leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of high-quality steel shelving and cabinets for garage, basement, storage, and commercial storage applications. Edsal was founded and operated as a family-owned and operated business on Chicago's South Side for over 60 years before being acquired by Monomoy Capital Partners in 2018. We continue to have operating sites throughout the United States in Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and California.

- Prepares metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective welding
- Regularly clean and inspect welding equipment and tools
- Tests the strength of each joint during and after part completion
- Report shift production accurately
- Advise supervisor or robotic tech shortages or poor-quality materials/products
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or a combination of education and experience
- 1 year experience as a welder or similar role
- Experience with steel fabrication preferred
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of machines and tools used in welding
- Knowledge of safety standards
