Description

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in promoting the health and well‑being of students within the school community. Responsibilities include conducting health assessments, administering first aid, managing medications, collaborating with school staff and parents, health education, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining health records, communicating effectively, and actively participating in initiatives that enhance the overall health and safety of the school community.

The LPN will also ride the bus to and from school with students and support students throughout the school day.

Qualifications
  • Current Pennsylvania license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (required)
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification (required)
  • Crisis management and intervention certification (preferred; may be required)
  • Previous experience working with students with disabilities, pediatric nursing, or an educational setting (preferred)
Terms

Full‑time, 7 hrs/day, 188 days/year (follows the traditional school year schedule). LPN will ride the bus to and from school with students and support students throughout the day.

Salary

$26.79 per hour as of 7/1/26, plus excellent benefits.
