About Maverick Home Remodeling

Maverick Home Remodeling, Inc. has served homeowners throughout the Denver Metro area since 2004. We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to take ownership of the administrative, accounting, project documentation, and day-to-day office functions that keep our business organized and running smoothly.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who is highly organized, detail‑oriented, comfortable with numbers and technology, and able to manage changing priorities without losing track of the details. You'll work closely with leadership, employees, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.

Our Office Manager is expected to personally manage many of the core administrative and accounting functions of the business while helping us continue to improve the systems behind them.

What You'll Do

Accounting & Financial Administration

  • Manage bookkeeping, transaction processing, accounts payable and receivable, employee expenses, reimbursements, and payroll‑related administrative processing.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare project financial, job‑costing, and operational reports.
  • Monitor past‑due accounts, coordinate collection efforts, and help resolve discrepancies and administrative issues.

Project & Document Administration

  • Process and maintain change orders, purchase orders, lien waivers, and other project documentation.
  • Set up and maintain customer project files and conduct regular documentation audits.
  • Keep project information synchronized across company software systems and maintain accurate databases and records.
  • Manage subcontractor documentation and organized physical and digital filing systems.
  • Protect confidential employee, customer, company, and financial information.

Office Operations & Support

  • Maintain office systems, equipment, supplies, and workspace.
  • Coordinate meetings and appointments and prepare reports, spreadsheets, and meeting materials.
  • Screen incoming calls and correspondence and support company meetings, events, and occasional marketing activities.
  • Improve administrative processes, identify efficiency and cost‑control opportunities, and assist leadership with special projects and changing priorities.
  • As the company grows, this role may take on responsibility for supervising and developing administrative staff.

Communication & Customer Service

  • Communicate professionally with customers, employees, subcontractors, vendors, and leadership.
  • Answer questions about accounts, procedures, documentation, and company processes.
  • Follow through on commitments, resolve issues appropriately, and recommend improvements when needed.
What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in office management, operations, administration, or business support.
  • 1+ year of experience in residential construction, remodeling, design‑build, or a related home‑services business.
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience.
  • 2+ years of hands‑on Quick Books Desktop experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • Strong organization, time management, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with Buildertrend or a comparable construction project‑management platform.
  • Experience with Google Workspace and construction job‑costing or project financial reports.
