About Multi Media Specialist Position

Shelby K Marketing is searching fora part time Multi-Media Specialist. If you are someone who is starting a career in marketing with some previous experience, this may be the perfect fit. This position works with a range of mediums including graphics, photos, and video. The ideal candidate is a go-getter, able to handle multiple projects at one time, and possesses excellent critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills.

The workload is approximately 40% photo, 40% video, and 20% graphics. This workload may shift due to natural skill set.

Shelby K Marketing is a multimedia marketing company that offers photography, videography, graphic design, coaching, and corporate brand and media management. The company works with a range of clients from the business, government, and non-profit sectors.

The position is part time with the potential of transitioning to full time. Schedule is flexible. Applicants should expect 15-20 hours a week.

The pay will be determined based on experience.

Job is located in Wray, CO at 410 Main Street, Suite 10, Wray, CO. Must live within 1 hour of Wray, CO.

• For photography services, the Multimedia Specialist is responsible for gathering photo content for clients in a variety of facets including businesses, government, and non profit. Applicant must be able to adapt to a multitude of shooting situations on-location (indoors and outdoors). Photography post production is yet another component to the job. Specialist will regularly use Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop to edit and create images.
• Videography work for the Multimedia Specialist includes handling the duties of Writer, Camera Operator, and Editor. Applicant having a working knowledge, in operating professional video cameras with good shooting instincts and the operation of editing software (Adobe Premier Pro) is a plus.
• Graphics work includes the production of new creative and edit existing templates to include brand development, visual presentations, logos, brochures, exhibits and signage, posters, interactive presentations, large format printing, event materials, and other digital and print collateral for a wide range of mediums. It is preferred the applicant have experience with Adobe Illustrator.
• Ensure that all work produced are quality control inspected in accordance with Quality Control Procedures including, but are not limited to: design quality, clarity, color, spelling, grammar, spacing, loose mountings, raw edges, and any customer specifications
• The Multimedia Specialist works efficiently on both individual and team projects hand-in-hand with the media team, as well as possess excellent communication and customer service skills
• Performs other duties, as assigned

• The ideal candidate is a go-getter, is able to handle multiple projects at one time and possesses excellent critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills
• Requires an organized and detail-oriented team player that has the ability to take ownership of their projects from concept to completion in the area of graphic design with some photography and videography skills
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing related field with strong portfolio (portfolio will be required with application)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Ability to build strong professional relationships
• Must be comfortable being held accountable to prospecting metrics and various sales-related key performance indicators
• Bachelor degree is not required but training in marketing, photography, videography, graphic design, and/or related field is preferred
• Must live within 1 hour of Wray, CO.
